During and after completing the above-mentioned courses, Krystyna was employed at several beauty salons, where she applied her knowledge and training - offering her clients facials, body waxing, body treatments and other assorted services at an exclusive salon in Chicago suburbs. Krystyna works as the main skin care beautician, sharing fresh ideas, vast experience and deep knowledge with her clientele.
Krystyna thinks very positive, motivates herself and those who are around. In July 2005 she was a sponsor of Miss Hawaiian Tropic Models Search, held in an exclusive night club, Accent Cafe in Mount Prospect, IL After the contest Krystyna went in touch with models giving them skin care, body care services, cosmetics products, advices, supported them. In September, during final competition in downtown Chicago, IL one of the model Monika won and becames Miss Hawaiian Tropic State of Illinois, and Ewelina Miss Hawaiian Tropic State of Tennessee. Krystyna participate at the charity activities. She is also an author of the articles devoted to beauty and skin care.
In April 2006, Krystyna had interview at exclusive, Polish, women magazine SZIKagowianka, and was voted Woman of The Month.

Krystyna Mazur came to the United States many years ago; with her determination she has achieved more in short time than an American achieves in a lifetime. Today she is qualified esthetician.. She has an excellent command of English. She has graduated from several schools. She has a lot of true friends and couple of wonderful children. And she owes all her achievements to herself. The book I often return to: Ice Bound" by Dr. Jerri Nielsen who was a member of the Antarctic expedition in 1999, when the temperature reached 100 degrees below zero. It was during that time that she discovered a breast tumor. Thanks to the e-mail cooperation with doctors in the USA she performed a biopsy on herself.

The most delicious dish: fish with vegetables barbecued in foil.

What I don't like in America: a great amount of tickets, car towing.
The Polish - American community - what is like? Hard working; more and more friendly and understanding.
My role model in life: Lydia Sarfati, a Polish lady, owner of Repechage, a large cosmetic company and the author of book "Success at Your Fingertips" where she shares her experience and offers advice. She has always emphasized her origin she is very proud of.
Features I value in people: dignity, honestly, tolerance, understanding, sense of humor.
Negative features people should definitely eliminate: hatred, jealousy, talkativeness, rudeness, stupidity.
Being a woman means: being a delicate human being, understanding, able to forgive, strike a compromise.
Life motto: unity is power, knowledge is authority, attitude is everything.
The success of your life: my children, breaking the language barrier in the US,
practicing a profession that has become my passion.
When I am gone, I would like people to say about me: she was a special personality; she did not pretend.
Dream I would still like to follow: I really want to write a movie script about the Polish community in the US in which the story of my life would be a leading plot. I have already been planning it in my mind.
About myself: I came to the US invited by my schoolmate Stasia who had strong belief in me; as she sent the invitation three times. She believed I had a chance for a better life here, and for working in the desired profession.
As SZIKagowianka's guest I would like to take an opportunity to thank the people that played a very important role in my personal life here in the United States: my children, especially my son Krzysztof for tremendous support and understanding, thanks to which I could work and finish school; my true friends - for better or worse - for their belief in my personality: Stasia Sitarz, Irena Burns, Emily Wlodarczyk.
